Going to a Wizards Game

There are only a few games left in the Washington Wizards season and I finally went to a game! 

Thanks to a scholarship opportunity, I won tickets to the Wizards versus Atlanta Hawks game last Wednesday. https://www.nba.com/wizards/essaycontest 

My sister and I took the metro to Capital One Arena on a chilly evening dressed in pink for the International Women’s day themed game! Thanks to her for being my photographer. 

I grabbed a program and snagged a photo with some of the players. Hehe 

I swear this series of photos changes every six months. The last photo I have here was with Russell Westbrook and Rui Hachimura and they’re now both in Los Angeles! 

We picked up this expensive $10 coke with a souvenir cup to share during the game. 

Psst, I don’t know when COA made the switch from Pepsi to Coca Cola but I’m glad they did although I’ll miss my mountain dew. 

Then I settled down in section 424 which was a better seat than I thought! The only thing issue was that it was hard to see if the ball went into the basket. But luckily we were in front of a massive screen so we could tell because there was a one-second delay!

After a stressful but exciting game, the Wizards ended up losing. Who is surprised anyway? 

Nonetheless, I had a great time coming back and spending the evening with my sister.
