Part I
I grew up going to Disney World thanks to my incredible mom, but since the pandemic, we haven’t had the opportunity to go back. The last time I went was when I was 13. Now, 18, I finally traveled back with my aunt to celebrate graduating from high school!

On the first day, I traveled alone from DC to Orlando. I managed to get myself to Disney’s Pop Century using Mears Connect. That was a big change since the last time I was here. RIP Disney’s Magical Express. Since my aunt wasn’t flying in until midnight, I had 16 hours to do whatever I wanted.
I started by dropping my bags off at Pop, then taking the Skyliner to Disney’s Riveria Resort for breakfast at Primo Piatto and coffee at Le Petit cafe. The resort was absolutely beautiful and filled with gorgeous Disney paintings. I then started my quest to visit as many resorts as possible and ride all four forms of transportation.

I relaxed in a hammock at Disney’s Carribean Beach Resort.
Took the Skyliner to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club.
Rode the bus to Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
Took the boat to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

I then road monorail around to Disney’s Grand Floridan and the Contemporary Resort.
I got dinner from Contempo Cafe and then sat down at the Grand Floridian to watch Happily Ever After!

I went to bed shortly later to get enough sleep for Animal Kingdom the next day!

We got up bright and early to reserve our Genie Passes for Avatar Flight of Passage and to rope drop the Kilimanjaro Safari.
Met Mickey and Minnie!
Visited Pandora!

And then headed to Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner at Sanaa and picked up my favorite gummy worms! The resort is stunning and I would love to have the chance to stay there again.

We tapped out pretty early because we were going to Epcot the next day!

We took the Skyliner to Epcot so we could try to rope-drop Frozen Ever After! Luckily, we also got a queue time for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! My new favorite ride at Walt Disney World. I was crossing my fingers for Everybody Wants to Rule the World and that’s what we got. I couldn’t have been happier!

We then took a tour around the world stopping in every country to try some food or drinks. I enjoyed going to the Guerlain store in the France pavilion too!
We then spent the night watching EPCOT Forever!
Part II is coming soon!
