I spent my past Saturday volunteering as a balloon handler at the National Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington DC!
First, we started off by Ubering to the National Mall because all the metros were closed at 6 am. We passed by some of the balloons before they were inflated!

Then, we made our way to the volunteer check-in booth and received our pink volunteer shirt, a free Dunkin donut, and coffee.

It was finally our turn to start handling the float. We lucked out and got to hold the pink Care Bear balloon!

We walked a mile down Constitution Avenue in front of thousands of people! We even spun the balloon a few times.

After we concluded, we went to deflate the balloon and I even met Lisa Ann Walter from Abottt Elementary. She’s a Maryland native!

Overall, the experience was looooonngg but it was very fun to see all of the reactions from the little kids!

Hey there just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The words in your post seem to be running off the screen in Firefox.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with
web browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.
The design look great though! Hope you get the issue solved soon. Thanks
